Derrick grew up on 1500 acres in North Texas on a farm and ranch and has loved hunting his whole life. He spent many days with his black lab, Ace, riding around the property on his 4 wheeler with his .410 from the age of 10. He graduated with a wildlife management/business degree from Texas A&M University and moved with his new bride to Eugene, Oregon, to work for Bowtech just 2 days after their honeymoon. After spending a couple of years there, Cherise's family had a job opportunity come available that they just couldn't pass up, and back home to Texas they went where he loves to whitetail, duck, dove, hog, and coyote hunt. He'll be traveling the US for Ranch Hand Horizons getting to hunt places that he has always dreamed of hunting!	Cherise grew up in Shiner, Texas, (yes, where they make the beer) on 400 acres. She is part of a 5th generation family company and has roots that run deep in the area. She graduated with a Business Finance degree from Texas A&M University and then moved to Oregon with Derrick where she worked in the real estate industry. Opportunity with the family company came calling, and they are now back in Texas enjoying all the people and places they love the most including Aggie football, hill country and south Texas ranches, best friends, and wonderful times with family! She grew up in a hunting family, but really started hunting herself after marrying Derrick.

Matt and Derrick went to high school together and consider themselves official huntin' buddies. They've spent many, many, many, many, many hours in a truck late at night spotlighting for coyotes since they were able to drive. Matt was raised in Boyd, Texas and then went to New Mexico on a baseball scholarship as a pitcher and then on to Oklahoma to NSUOK. He's a small town guy who likes to have fun, hunt, play sports, and hang out. Matt currently works for a construction company in Fort Worth, Texas, and is excited about the hunting opportunities on Ranch Hand Horizons!	Matthew and Derrick met while working together at Bowtech Archery in Eugene, Oregon after Matthew graduated with a Business Management degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Matthew grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana, and captured a taste for adventure when offered a job in Oregon. He proposed to his wife on the shores of the Oregon coast and spent a few years enjoying the beautiful environment of the Pacific Northwest before moving back home to work with his family's company. He is now enjoying writing and editing for an outdoor magazine and hunting whenever possible. Ranch Hand Horizons is excited to have him on the team!
